Some of my Klips have stopped working. What do I do?

a. Upgrade your Klips
It may be that it stopped working because the format of the data it's trying to retrieve has changed. When this happens, use the Upgrade Klips feature to check for newer versions of your Klips:

  1. Open the Options window.
  2. Click the Klips tab.
  3. Click the Check Now button.
  4. Follow any instructions that appear.

If you think the Klip is out of date but there is no updated Klip available, contact its author.

b. Upgrade your Klipfolio Dashboard to the latest version (version 5)
Your Klips may no longer be compatible with the version of Klipfolio Dashboard you are using. Be sure to upgrade it to the latest version by following these steps:

  1. Open the Options window.
  2. Click the About tab.
  3. Click the Check Now button.
  4. Follow any instructions that appear.

c. Check the forum to see if the problem is already reported.
Chances are that other users of the Klip are having the same problem if the Klip and the dashboard are already up to date. 

d. Contact the author of the Klip.
Not all Klips are made by Klipfolio. Search for the author of the Klip by entering the Klip's name in the Search field of our Klips section. Then, add a comment about the issue for the author on the Klip page. You may find that other users have already notified the author, too.
