I’m not seeing the report I just created in the dropdown menu when configuring the Klip. Why?

Make sure you followed the information in How do I connect Klipfolio and Salesforce? in the following article section: How do I connect to Salesforce using the Dashboard Gallery?

It is critical that you have "Klipfolio" in the name of the report.

Make sure that your reports are shared and not set to private.

How are the targets being calculated?

These are ‘smart targets’. Your monthly target is broken down based on the number of days left to reach that target. As a result, the dashboard tells you where you should be today, versus where you are now.

How do I change the currency symbol?

To change the currency,

  1. Edit the Klip.
Note: Editing a Klip prevents you from going back and reconfiguring a Klip on your dashboard.
  2. Click the component you'd like to change.
  3. In the Properties panel below, change the Symbol to the currency of your choice.
  4. Save your changes.

Sharing your Salesforce reports

Any Salesforce reports created in a personal folder cannot be shared with other users/roles/groups. To make the reports available for all users, create a new shared folder and place the reports in there. And then share it with your users/roles/groups.

My targets this month are different than other months, how can I change them?

Simply reconfigure the five Klips to set your new targets.

To reconfigure a Klip,

  • Click the three-dot menu icon at the top right corner of the Klip.
  • Select Reconfigure.
  • Go back through the flow of connecting your data to the Klip, and making the changes that you need.

Why does my Klip look blank?

It may be because the date format is not matching what your data returns. To find out,

  • Click the three-dot menu icon at the top right corner of the Klip.
  • Select Edit.
  • Find “Date Format” in the left-hand Component Tree.
  • Edit the date format to match what you see in your Salesforce report. For example, if you see 1/21/2017, enter M/dd/yyyy.

Why does it matter if my sales team works on weekends?

This information is used to calculate your daily target. For example, if you have to sell $300 in April (30 days), and your sales team works on weekends as well as weekdays, then your Daily Target would be $10. However, if your sales team does not work on weekends, your daily target would be $15 (because there are 20 working days in April).
