In PowerMetrics, the default setting for the first day of the week is Monday. This is an account-wide setting that can be modified by your Account Administrator. It determines the first day when applying a weekly date range, either preset ("This week" or "Last week") or custom.

For direct to warehouse, semantic layer, and dbt Semantic Layer metric users: We recommend you configure the “first day of week” setting in PowerMetrics to match the one used by the warehouse, the underlying data source for the semantic layer, or the dbt Semantic Layer project. Otherwise, weekly periodicity data will not display as expected in PowerMetrics. If they don't match, edit your PowerMetrics setting as described below.

Modifying the first day of the week

This setting can only be modified by users with the Account Administrator role.

To modify the first day of the week:

1. Click the button in the left navigation sidebar and select Settings.
2. Select General from the menu on the left.
3. At Start of Week (PowerMetrics Only), click Edit.
4. At Start of Week, click the drop-down and select the day you want to use as the first day of the week.
5. Click Save.
