Creating a data source using GoSquared
To create a data source using GoSquared, you need to accomplish the following tasks:
- Start the data source creation process.
- Find your GoSquared API and site token.
- Write your query and enter it in Klipfolio.
- Complete the data source creation process.
Note: This guide assumes that you already have an active GoSquared account.
Step 1: Start the data source creation process
To create a data source using GoSquared, go to the Connector Gallery page in Klipfolio and select GoSquared.
Step 2: Find your GoSquared API and site token
You will need to use your GoSquared API Key and site token in your query. To find your API Key and site token, see Authentication - GoSquared API.
Step 3: Write your query and enter it in Klipfolio
Refer to the GoSquared API documention.
A great way to get started is to copy the query examples below into Klipfolio and fill in the blanks with your information. Then, try creating your own queries.

Step 4: Complete the data source creation process
Now that you have written your query:
- At Data Format, select JSON.
- At Method, select GET.
- Select Submit.
Note: In addition to your raw data source, you can create a modelled version of your data source at this stage. To create a modelled data source, ensure that the checkbox next to Model this data source is selected before clicking Continue.

- If you are satisfied with the data returned, select Continue.
