JOIN

The JOIN function takes a set of values, joins these values with a comma, and returns them as a single value.

The syntax for the JOIN function is:

JOIN ( data , glue )

Parameters

data The values to join vector
glue Optional: Default value is comma.  scalar

How to use the JOIN function

The JOIN function lets you assign data to be joined and, optionally, what value to use to join the values using the glue parameter. By default, the glue is a comma. JOIN is commonly used to create comma separated lists. 

Example:

A B
Country Capital
Canada Ottawa
Australia Canberra
Mexico Mexico City
England London

 

Join(SLICE(@A:A))

Returns: Canada,Australia,Mexico,England

Join(SLICE(@B:B),"*")

Returns: Ottawa*Canberra*Mexico City*London
