The REVERSE function displays the values in a data set in the opposite order.

The syntax for the REVERSE is:

REVERSE( values )

value the data set numbers or text vector

How to use the REVERSE function

The REVERSE function takes the values selected and displays them in the opposite order in which they appear in the data source. This function is useful when you want to reverse values, such as a range of 30 days.

Example: REVERSE(@A:A) will display the values in column A in the reverse order.

Using REVERSE with a specified range

The REVERSE function works with the SLICE function, as SLICE will specify the range and the REVERSE will specify the correct order to display that range.

In this example, SLICE is used to specify that REVERSE should be applied to the last 12 values of column C (C:C).
