IN( values, set)

The IN function returns true or false depending on whether values are present in a data set.

Using the following data source,

1 Apples 10
2 Pears 20
IN( Apples, A:A ) returns true because Apples is present in column A.
IN( Bananas, A:A ) returns false because Bananas is not present in column A.

The IN function can be used to test an array of values:

IN( ARRAY( Apples, Bananas ), A:A ) returns ( true, false).
