Math functions

Use this chart to see how each function works:

Definition

ABS Used to calculate the absolute value of all non-blank values.
AVERAGE Used to calculate the average of all non-blank values.
CEILING Used to round each value up to the nearest multiple of significance.
COUNT Used to count all non-blank values. Returns a single value.
COUNTALL Used to count all blank and non-blank values. Returns a single value.
COUNTBLANK Used to count all blank values. Returns a single value.
COUNTIF Used to evaluate a condition. If true, returns the count as a single value.
COUNTNUMERIC Used to count all numeric values. Returns a single value.
CUMULATIVE Used to calculate a sequence of partial sums for the data selection. Returns an array of values.
CUMULATIVE_DIFFERENCE Return the difference between the current and previous value for each value in a given data set.
FLOOR Used to round each value down to the nearest multiple of significance.
MAX Used to find the maximum value in the data set provided.
MEDIAN Used to find the median value in the data set provided.
MIN Used to find the minimum value in the data set provided.
MOD Used to return the modulus in the data set provided.
MODE Finds the lowest, most frequently occurring value in the data set provided.
POWER Returns each base to the power of the given exponent.
ROUND Rounds each value to specified number of digits.
SUM Used to calculate the sum of all non-blank values. Returns a single value.
SUMIF Evaluates the condition and calculates the sum of all true values.
