Klips Mobile App FAQ

Klipfolio lets you track and share data that matters to you. Get access to your Klip dashboards on your mobile device whether you’re in a meeting, at your desk, or on the go. This FAQ relates to the Klips for iPhone app and the Klips for Android app.

Is the Klips for iPhone app free?
Yes, absolutely.

Is the Klips for Android app free?
Yes, absolutely.

How do I download the Klips for iPhone app?
Go to the App Store to download the latest Klips for iPhone app.

How do I download the Klips for Android app?
Go to the Google Play to download the latest Klips for Android app.

What Apple devices are supported?
See supported mobile operating systems and devices. The app will also run on the iPad, but it is not optimized for this device.

What OS versions are supported?
See supported mobile operating systems and devices.

What can I do with the Klips app?
The app allows you to view your Klip dashboard(s). You can select the dashboards that you want to view in the app and customize the order in which they are displayed. Just click the Add button at the bottom of My Dashboards in the app. You can also choose either the light or dark theme by clicking the toggle button beside Theme

Should I tailor my Klips and dashboards for display in the Klips for iPhone or Klips for Android app?
Yes, we recommend that you create Klips and dashboards designed for the mobile experience. Klips designed with the mobile device in mind will display better and faster. See our guide on creating Klips to display on mobile devices.

Can I access PowerMetrics with the mobile app?
No. PowerMetrics are not currently supported on our mobile app. However, you can access our desktop version by viewing it in a browser on your mobile device.

What should I do if I encounter issues related to the mobile app?
First, check to see if you are running our current version and, if not, perform an upgrade. Getting the latest version often solves common issues. If upgrading doesn’t resolve things, and if you don’t see an answer for your issue in the list above, please email support@klipfolio.com with a description of the behaviour.

Is it possible to white-label or rebrand the mobile app? It is not possible at this time to white-label or rebrand the Klips mobile app. 

Troubleshooting

Why are my Klips being clipped and/or squished?
Klips are not dynamically resized in Klipfolio for iPhone or Klipfolio for Android. We recommend that users build dashboards specifically for the mobile experience. See our guide on creating Klips to display on mobile devices.

Why aren’t some of the images in my Klips displaying?
The most likely cause is that you are directly referencing a URL that the app cannot access from within an Image component or a formula (for example, /images/my-cool-image.png). The mobile app cannot display the image unless it can access that same URL directly.

Why isn’t my HTML template Klip working?
As a security measure, the Klipfolio for iPhone app prevents HTML templates from executing JavaScript. We welcome your feedback on how this affects you. Send your comments to support@klipfolio.com
