Tips: Adding Web Metrics Klips from the Klip Gallery

The Web Metrics Klips use several data sources to create visualizations. If you're having trouble adding them to your dashboard, it may have to do with your settings and permissions in those accounts.

Facebook

You may experience difficulty adding Facebook Klips to your dashboard because:

  • You are trying to add a Facebook Klip from a personal account rather than a company page. The Klip Gallery only connects to company pages.
  • After two months, your Facebook OAuth token will expire (OAuth Tokens look like this: Yourname @ Service). This token allows you to safely bring your data into Klipfolio. You may need to re-authorize your OAuth token.

Salesforce

You may experience difficulty adding Salesforce Klips to your dashboard because:

  • You are not using a supported edition of Salesforce. To successfully add Salesforce Klips from the Klip Gallery, make sure you are using one of the following editions:
    • Enterprise Edition
    • Unlimited Edition
    • Developer Edition
    • Performance Edition
To find out which Salesforce version you use, log in to Salesforce and go to Setup > Company Profile > Company Information > Organization Edition.
  • You may need to adjust your Salesforce field security permissions. Learn more here.
  • After three months, your Salesforce OAuth token will expire (OAuth Tokens look like this: YourName @ Service). This token allows you to safely bring your data into Klipfolio. You may need to re-authorize your OAuth token.

Google Analytics

You may experience difficulty adding Google Analytics Klips to your dashboard because:

    • You need to have at least 'Read and Analyze' level access to your company's Google Analytics account.
    • From time to time, your Google OAuth token will expire (OAuth Tokens look like this: Yourname @ Service). This token allows you to safely bring your data into Klipfolio. You may need to re-authorize your OAuth token.
Note: You have one token for all your Google platforms. Only the newest Google token works; old tokens are automatically disabled when new ones are created.
