SEMrush is a powerful and versatile competitive intelligence suite for online marketing, from SEO and PPC to social media and video advertising research. With an SEMrush subscription, you can add powerful SEMrush Klips to your dashboard.

In order to associate your data with the Klip you add to your dashboard from the Gallery, you will need:

• An SEMrush subscription
• Your SEMrush API key.

Important! You will be charged SEMrush API units each time you fetch data for your Klip. To help conserve your units, your SEMrush Klips will only refresh once a day. If you ever exceed your SEMrush subscription’s API limit, you can buy an additional API package from SEMrush.

To keep track of your SEMrush API usage, take a look at your query log.

To add a SEMrush Klip Gallery template to your dashboard:

Choose a SEMrush Klip from the Gallery. Select Add to Dashboard. You are now asked for your SEMrush API Key.
To find your SEMrush API Key, log into your SEMrush account in a new tab. Click on your Profile, and select API from the drop-down menu.
Select Account.
Copy your API Key into Klipfolio. Click Next Step.
Enter your website URL and, depending on the Klip you are adding, your competitor's website URL. Select a regional database from the drop-down list provided. You can retrieve data from any of the databases listed. Click Add Klip.
