  • You can now change the data format type when editing a PowerMetric. Choices include percentage, numeric, and currency.

  • Connectors:
  • If your LinkedIn or Google Analytics account connection token has expired and you reconfigure an associated data source, you will be prompted to reauthorize.

  • Partners: Upon client creation, all settings are set to ON by default. Note that this does not impact API users.
  • Modelled data sources: You can now initiate the data source creation process from the PowerMetrics product area by clicking Data Sources in the left navigation bar and then selecting Create a New Data Source. You will be guided through the process of creating a modelled data source that can be used to build a PowerMetric.

      • Partner features: When you import dashboards, they now automatically display in the side navigation bar in the client account.

  • PowerMetrics: You can now duplicate a PowerMetric view while in edit mode on a PowerMetric dashboard.
  • Modelled data sources: When creating a modelled data source, we now include a link that tells you if some of your column rows aren’t being displayed.
  • Calculated PowerMetrics: You can now apply filters to referenced PowerMetrics when creating a calculated PowerMetric. Learn more.

  • Calculated metrics: Combine two or more metrics using an equation (with simple math - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to create a combined metric that can be expressed as a number, a percentage, or a ratio. Learn more.
  • More metric visualization types: In addition to bar charts, line charts, pie charts, and score cards, Klipfolio now includes area charts, treemaps, radar charts, waterfall charts, and heat maps for metrics. Learn more.
  • Metric sharing: You can now filter to see a list of metrics that are shared with you. Learn more.
  • Modelled data sources: The ability to model a data source is out of BETA. Learn more.

Up to April 22nd

New:

  • Lock out options: To enable greater security, we’ve added some new lock out setting options. Learn more.
  • New Function: We’ve added the function COUNTRY_CLEAN which is used to standardize country names in your data.
  • Harvest: You can now connect to Harvest from our Connector Gallery.
  • Zoho: You can now connect to Zoho from our Connector Gallery.
  • Metrics (Beta):
  • We emailed a summary report to all users for the metrics they’ve created.
  • In score card visualizations, when comparing data from a partial period, we now compare it to a previous partial period. For example, if you are halfway through a month and want to compare to the previous month, your metric will be compared to the same period of the previous month.
  • Metric date filtering now includes a “Last 24 months” option.
  • The weekly time period is now included when considering auto time periodicity for metrics. For example, if you're viewing a date range for your data for the "Last 8 weeks", the auto-periodicity will be set to "Auto (Weekly)".

Updates and Fixes:

  • Side nav bar presentation: Design updates make it easier to see the scrollbar when navigating the side bar and to see dashboards when dragging and dropping them within your list of dashboards.
  • Dashboard permissions: Permissions related to dashboard access and usage have been fixed.
  • Klips with merged modelled data sources: Error messages will display and notify you if there are refresh failures for any merged modelled data sources that are used to build Klips.

Up to March 27th

New:

  • Google Team Drive: You can now connect to Google Team Drive from our Connector Gallery.
  • Users: You can now search for users by name or email address.
  • My SQL connector: We've added support for SSL to our MySQL connector.
  • Upgrades: You can increase your maximum data source size to 15 MB by upgrading your plan to include the Larger Data Sources Power-up. To learn more, click your Name > Account > Plan to see all of our upgrade options.
  • Sharing: When you share an asset with individual users in your account, an email notification is automatically sent to the recipient. Learn more here,
  • Metrics (Beta):
  • You can now add a shared metric to a shared Metric Board from the Metrics List Page.
  • Group sharing is now available for metrics on a Klip dashboard.
  • New Revert feature enables you to reset your Metric Boards, and their metrics, to their default (pre-personalization) settings.
  • You can now view information about a metric on a dashboard by clicking the metric's 3-dot menu and selecting About.

  • We now offer Paypal as a payment option.
  • Google Sign In is now supported in our mobile app.
  • Metrics (Beta): You can now view information for a metric via its 3-dot menu. From here you can see the metric's name, owner, date it was created and last modified, the last time it was refreshed, and a definition (if it was created using a metric from our Metric Hub).

  • Metrics (Beta): When in Metric Monitoring, the left side navigation bar expand/collapse state persists, as expected.
