CSV file versions of your metric visualizations can be used in many ways: In spreadsheets, for record-keeping, when debugging issues, to preserve a snapshot in time, to help you do comparisons, and for use in presentations -- basically, you can use them anywhere you want to see computed results!
The download as CSV option is available to anyone with view or edit access to the metric visualization. This option is accessed either from an open metric or from individual metrics on dashboards.
Notes:
- When you choose this option, you aren't downloading the metric, you're downloading the computed data that's shown in the metric visualization.
- When on a dashboard, this option is only available for metric visualizations, not for text or image widgets.
To download a visualization for a metric:
- In the left navigation sidebar, click Metrics to display the Metric List page.
- Select the metric you're interested in.
- Click the
button in the top navigation bar or click the 3-dot menu and select Download as CSV.
The visualization is downloaded as a CSV file.
To download a visualization for a metric on a dashboard:
- In an open dashboard, click the 3-dot menu for the visualization you want to download.
- Select Download as CSV.
The visualization is downloaded as a CSV file.
