Some datasources provide data in hex, in order to make it human readable it must be converted to decimal, currently it is not possible.
One instance of such an issue is time / date when a Trello card was created - http://help.trello.com/article/759-getting-the-time-a-card-or-board-was-created
I assume that there exists other applications of hex conversion as well.

Another example is converting first 4 byte of ID in MongoDB from HEX into Date.
