Advance Facebook MKT API Request - Structure

Hey there!

I'm searching a solution for an advance facebook mkt api request, I need some info and i want to know if is posible to bring it with just one query, what I need is:

 

-Brand Name

-Campaign Name

-Publication Date (of an Ad)

-Ad Text

-Ad's Interactions (Likes, Reactions, Comments & Shares) 

-Impressions & CPM

-Clicks & CPC

-Ad's Status

-Ad's Image 

-Ad's Spend

-CTR

 

I know is very ambitious but I have no idea if this is posible and how to estructure the URL Request, specially how to get the Ad's Image & Interactions.

I hope someone can help me with this.

  Hi Erick!

  To pull all of the information you requested above, you will need to create four different data source. Here is a breakdown of the queries for each data source and what data it will return:

  1. Brand Name/Account Name: You will need to use the adaccounts endpoint. The query below will return any account name and account id that you have access to.

  https://graph.facebook.com/v2.10/me/adaccounts?fields=id,name

  2. Insights: To return the insights for your campaign, you can use the insights endpoint with the level=campaign. The fields in the below query will return data for impressions, cpm, clicks, cpc, ctr as well as ad interactions such as likes, reactions, comments and shares which reside in the actions JSON tree.
  
  https://graph.facebook.com/v2.9/act_<id>/insights?level=campaign&fields=campaign_name,ad_id,spend,actions,action_values,ctr,clicks,impressions&date_preset=last_90d&limit=5000

  3. Campaign Status: To determine the campaign status you can use the following query below: 

  https://graph.facebook.com/v2.10/<campaignId>?fields=name,effective_status

  4. Ad Preview: If you want to pull the ad text and image, you can use the previews endpoint. You will need to insert the ad id for the ad you wish to return. You can find the ad id in the insights data source you created in step two. 

  https://graph.facebook.com/v2.10/<ad_id>/previews?ad_format=RIGHT_COLUMN_STANDARD

  Alternatively, you can use https://graph.facebook.com/v2.9/act_<id>/adimages?fields=url which will return a url for every image associated with you account.However, you would still have to determine which add links up to which campaign. I believe the first option is much easier. 

  Once you build those four data sources then you should have all the data you need!

  Thank you so much, it works, i have all info I want except the publication text of the ad, do you know how can I get it?

  After a little more digging, this query should be able to provide most of the information with one API call including the text (body) of the ad:
