  One of the best affiliate programs that are win-win for both company and marketer are rev-share models where 20-40% of a subscription fee is paid to the referrer. It promotes the marketer to keep their audience with the company by providing on-going support and content that keeps them engaged. The one-off referral fee is nice, but doesn't provide on-going incentive for the marketer to keep their audience going with the product/service.

   

  Alternatively, an enticing setup is an affiliate program with tiers, where 1-5 referrals per month earns $X, 6-10 referrals $X *1.5, 11-20 referrals earns $X * 2, etc. This can promote the marketer to launch special events / courses / dedicated periods of time to your product, and allows significant focus during peak periods.

   

  An example of this is Convertkit for the monthly rev share, and bluehost / siteground for the tiered reward programs. Hope this helps!
