Greetings. It would very useful and easy if the recipient of the scheduled email snapshots is not limited to just users.

Thank you for contributing to the community and raising this feature request.
Can you share any additional context around your situation and use case? Any additional insights would help with prioritization.
I'm adding your request and name to a feature request.
Cheers,
Scott.

We would like this as well. I send several reports to external resources that have no need for an account in Klipfolio. Its a simple use case. This would be a second priority for us - more important is the ability to email a csv/excel report.

Thanks, Chris!
Would be helpful to understand you situation better. What kinds of external resources are you wanting to send to? How often would you do this?
Wrt emailing as CSV/Excel, can you describe your need here a bit more? Trying to better understand what you are trying to do, why csv/excel is desired/what your recipient needs to do with the CSV/Excel file.
Any additional insight would be great to help add context for prioritization.
Thanks,
Scott.

Scott, its a pretty simple requirement. There are people I support who need to be included on emailed reports, but have no reason to access Klipfolio.
For the emailed csv reports, the recipient needs to work with the data, not just look at it. They might have multiple secondary reports that they add this data too. They may want to analyze it using formulas. They may want to use only a portion of the data for a separate purpose. These are all of the flexibilities provided by csv, that are unavailable in pdf.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the additional context. Sounds like you may be trying to enable deeper analysis of the information in the dashboard and trying to join it with other data outside of Klipfolio. In this use case, would it be accurate to say you are using Klipfolio to get to data, do some manipulation of the data with formulas in the Editor, then pass that data for further processing somewhere else? Is the value you see in Klipfolio for this use case the abilty to get to your source data and do some transformation?
Thanks again,
Scott.

Thanks for the response Scott. Not really - I can get the data directly from SQL and do whatever I need to there. But that is because I am one of only a few people in my organization with direct access to the database. Currently, i get requests for data from many people, many times a day. I am trying to avoid running manual reports for all of these requests.
If I could schedule reports in Klipfolio and have them sent in csv, it would save me massive amounts of time and allow my team to have the data show up in their inbox on a schedule.
There are certain people who can just log into Klipfolio and run the report and export it, but I am hoping for a more automated process.

I'd like to better understand your scenario. Can we get on a call?
Please email me at slawrence@klipfolio.com so we can coordinate.
Looking forward to speaking with you.
