Would like an easy way to find unused data sources. Basically, any data source that we aren't using in a Klip for the purpose of removing the unused ones.

Hi Melissa,
Thank you for raising your request in the community!
I've raised your use case and associated it with a feature request to discuss with the product team.
In the meantime, our API does enable identifying Klips used by a data source. To explore this, look at http://apidocs.klipfolio.com/reference#klips. The optional datasource_id parameter would filter the results to show only Klips for that identified data source. This call http://apidocs.klipfolio.com/reference#data-sources will get the list of your data sources and their IDs.
Will work towards an easier way when this is prioritized for action.
Thanks again!
Scott.

I really like this idea.

+! This would be awesome. Leveraging the API for what seems to be a simple administrative request seems onerous.
My particular use-case stems from the fact that SFDC rate limits our reports API calls, so being able to identify unused datasources consuming calls would be really handy.

Any update here? We're still struggling with a scalable way to identify which data sources are not used so we can remove them and reduce the overall number of API calls to SFDC.

Hi Darrin,
There is an option to view the refresh details of your data sources. You can try this link
https://app.klipfolio.com/datasources/refresh_infoIt will show you the number of Klips associated with the data source. For any data sources showing no Klips in use, you could first set the refresh to never to make sure everything is working as expected.
Thanks
