DATA FILTER COMPARISION WITH PREVIOUS PERIOD

Hey,

I have a question related to Dates filters and comparison data.  I know that there is no Built-in functions of date filters and comparison data of previous period automatically. These options are available in PowerMetrics, but I cannot use that right now in my current situation. I have created below Klip using "Hidden Data and filtered it with "Unit to Date Month" and "Last full month". But I wanted to choose from the Date Range filter and it automatically tells previous data and % change of previous period.

 

 

Can anyone guide me on how I can achieve this whenever I select a particular date range (Eg: 1st-20June it will show me % change and amount of previous period (1st-20th May) like this:

 

 

Can we achieve such a result in Klips rather than using Power Metrics?

  Hello,

  You can achieve this with formulas. First, your data must include all of the periods you wish to show, then you must use either a dynamic type selection or a SWITCH with defined periods. 

  The easier method is to have a drop-down list of predefined periods

  • Last 7 Days
  • Last Week
  • Last Month
  • Last Year

  or something similar

  Thank you for your response. 

  Also, I wanted to ask how we can add a comparison period in the Klips. If I select a date range, and it will show me the previous period comparision like the image attached below.
