Data not showing on Dashboard

I'm not to Klipfolio so forgive me if I am missing something obvious.

I am testing at the moment and imported some data from a spreadsheet, created a klip with some user input variable filters such as a date filter (scope on them has been set to "All Dashboards" and in the Klip builder everything looks great and works as expected.

However when I add to dashboard it all just shows as No Data?

    Happy to investigate this. Typically, issues like this are due to the variables in question not having set values for a dashboard. 

    For context, every dashboard in Klipfolio holds values for the variables used on its Klips, and those do not automatically generate the first time a Klip is added to a dashboard. With that in mind, what you'll need to do is manually select a value (IE from a user input control or a date picker) other than the one currently displayed on the Klip in order to set those values. Once that's done, data should appear on your Klip and it will work normally and consistently going forward.

    Hello,

    I am having this issue - when i go into each Klip, the variable name is there and the data is correct. However on the dashboard, it shows no data. What steps do I need to take please?

    Hi Michael, 

    Typically, the first thing to try when seeing this issue is to manually select value in each user input control on your dashboard to set a value for each variable on your dashboard. This is important, because new variables will not have a value set for your dashboard until one is created. Once that's done, the dashboard should act normally going forward.
