Support for AWS CloudWatch Metrics as a Data Source

We have other dashboards that show things like SQS counts, DB connections, ELB Request counts, and many other metrics pulled from Amazon Web Services CloudWatch. Right now, I'll have to write custom scripts for every view that I want to see in here.

  Earlier this year, with the introduction of the Signed Authentication as part of the Web Accessible Recourse connector, it is now possible to leverage AWS CloudWatch as a data source.

  Simply adding support for the HMAC authentication mechanism would make it possible to use the REST API to get a lot of data out of AWS, including other services like DynamoDB.
