Last week we released new functionality to be able to publish a Tab as a link with or without a password.
For a more detailed description check out this link: http://klipfolio.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/676963-new-publish-private-links

We need this as well. To take it a step further, maybe allow us to assign a password to access links specifically (for client specific) pages.
-
Public dashboards would be very handy for multiple of our clients.
-
This feature will be critical to our adoption of this dashboard solution
-
I need that capability also
-
Any sign of making this happen? Being able to have a dashboard for the public that does not require a login. A direct URL to it is all that would be needed.
-
Definitely want this.
-
needs to be in

I'm surprised this crucial feature is missing...
-
This is a really important feature - please consider adding this sometime soon :-)
-
We also miss it at Karmarama!

This is an essential feature to a dashboard.

What's the status on this one? It really helps me deploy chromeapps in kiosk mode and deploy those with chromeboxes. With a login screen my customers have to login after booting the chromeos. That's an obstacle.

A dashboard that can't be viewed without authenticating is really a disconnect. Have us pay more if you're worried about giving free rides, but give us the option, at least. Pretty please.

Klipfolio is almost a no go for me because of this lack
-
Count us in on this one. Public sharing without edit options.
-
Yep, I might leave Klipfolio for another service just because this feature is lacking ... c'mon, how hard can it be to implement?

This is really vital for sharing klip tabs as real-time dashboard reports with clients; it is not reasonable to ask clients to get their own Klipfolio account to view data dashboards we build for them. While I can embed each Klip in an HTML and hide it behind a login screen for clients, this is tedious and means we have to essentially recreate the tab layout a second time via HTML. Even if you set this as a "Pro Feature" where we have to pay a little more each month, it'd be worth it. If our company is going to begin investing time to develop dashboards on Klipfolio for our client base, we want to make sure we are building on the right foundation for the future!

Sign me up!!

There is a solution though, embed all your klips in your own site and recreate the dashboard. Thus making your dashboard indirect public. #facepalm

this is a must for any dashboard programme. disappointed and looking elsewhere currently

This is a very important function for me. Please make this happen! We are currently considering a wide range of options and Klipfolio is the best so far but lacks this functionality!
-
need this too!
-
Currently studying other products that provide that feature - essential for a dashboard display solution.
-
+1 I'd also need to be able to create dashboards that can be reached without logging in, but with IP restrictions.
-
I need to this option for our traveling sales guys.

Agree - this is clearly an area where Klipfolio is lagging as a product. Data and these dashboards increase in value when the data is shared. I've wondered if Klipfolio has a business model issue with this since your business model is per user, as opposed to many of the competing products such as Geckoboard which are by the dashboard or some other licensing model. Zendesk has a model of Light Agents which are free, and full Agents which are paid. It's a good model that helps solve internal communication needs. This has been a request for a lot time, I'm guessing the dev work isn't huge and the reason we don't have this feature is business related.
