Duplicating Klips
Sometimes we're using the same klip but with a slight modification. At the moment we need to create a completely new klip - therefore we would like the ability to duplicate a clip with the same settings.

Reviewing this again, the ability to Save As from within a Klip in the Editor should address the requirement as outlined in the idea.
That said, we are looking into possible mechanisms to make the ability to make a copy/duplicate of a Klip more obvious and potentially from the Library

I just found out about this. Despite looking all over the place I never found it and only became aware when I support person let me know. So maybe just make a more obvious way to do this. -
Agreed that this could be a feature that is easier to see (and in the help). I only found out from this forum -
"Save as" to make a copy is nice, but I'd love to see a "duplicate" option from the list of Klips rather than having to go into each one and re-save them. -
What about a way to change the data source of a clip that has the same column structure. Currently this doesn't seem possible. -
Although this feature is there and I have used it, when you make the new name of the clip changing it from the old name (copy of "Klipname") to the new name, it still retains the old name of the Klip and you have to go in and change it again.
