Is there any feature that allows me to send alerts or notifications
So I can alert or send notification by email or SMS to my co-workers when some levels are reached. I want to PUSH the data to the co-workers

This is very useful for our organisation as well.
We're working on a dashboard that collects data from our staff on the floor and we need to be able to respond fast when our critical limits are reached.
An SMS alert or an in-app alert would be great since we use klipfolio app on mobile to monitor things.

If we can do this according to the color of gauge element etc ... it would be nicehave you some info concerning this kind of feature . will it be soon online ?

Hi,
It would be very useful, if Klipfolio could send email notifications or other kind of alerts, when a certain level is reached, when a chart peaks, or when something irregular happens. We are monitoring many klips at the same time, so it would save a lot of time and bring more value to the tool.

We are looking for a feature like this as well. Getting notifications/email when a certain threshold has been hit based on indicators. It looks like this has been requested 4+ years ago....., has there been any progress or will implementation be made in the near future?

As a quick update on this topic, we are investigating foundations for something like this in the Labs, however it is early stages at the moment without a specified timeframe.

This would be hugely beneficial and much cleaner than having to do custom alerts - especially because you already have some very useful connectors for data sources, which might not be as easy to use in other applications.

Also curious to know if any updates have been made to this. We have some executives that would like to be notified is our annuals sales or hours dip below a certain threshold. We also have some clients that would be interested in notifications when hours worked for the week are approaching a certain threshold they've budgeted for, etc (I think another user in here had a similar use case). We're considering using Klipfolio for some of our clients, rather than just our internal staff, and this feature is at the crux of that decision.

Extension of the existing indicators feature would be acceptable. To be able to add an indicator such as:
IF <some value> <is greater than> <some value> THEN Email <email address> with subject = <subject>, message = <message>
It's that simple. We would be able to configure the email addresses such that some items would be forwarded on to a Slack bot, some would go to a Trello board and so on. All you need to do is to send the email. I will take it from there.
THIS IS SO EASY, why has it not been done yet?

Thank you for the additional input. We definitely appreciate why there has been so many requests for alerting and notifications and how these could impact your daily monitoring experience. The good news is that both notifications and alerts are part of our short term plans. The bad news is that I do not yet have a date for release. I know that many of our users have been waiting a long time for this functionality and we truly appreciate your patience. I will provide another update soon as we get closer.

This is exciting news! I was actually asked about this possibility by yet another department this week. The value add here would be incredible. Do you think the initial release is likely to happen in 2018?

IMHO it is outrageous how long this has taken to implement. I challenge you to give me an example of something more requested more potentially useful to your users and customers. It takes about a day for a new user to realise they need this feature. Every person who has looked at the dashboards we have has said, "Can you send notification if....". Really, move this along, give us a date, work on it, release it. PLEASE.

We are building real-time dashboards for our clients and now for internal use and we definitely need this feature to monitor some metrics. As @Andrew Horton said, I do not understand why the devlopment of the feature take so long (nearly 5 years !!) whereas so many are waiting for it.
Without this feature, we would look for another solution in few month. I heard Datadog have it built-in...

I'm following up on this feature request, and there hasn't been an update in some time. This is the most voted, most commented, and one of the oldest request on the help center. The impact of this feature would be huge. It's been over a year since I last posted in 2017........ We are still eagerly awaiting this feature.
Has this project been dropped? In production? In Radar?

Alerts & notifications are top of mind for Klipfolio right now; we understand the importance of this type of feature, especially in a team context. As a product manager at Klipfolio I recognize that a notification system is the piece of the puzzle that would make building, sharing, and alerting users of certain changes and trends extremely valuable. It would tie the whole Klipfolio experience together. This thread alone reflects a need for this feature. It is something we have been strategizing around for multiple months now (and in previous years as well). However, we hope to deliver the first piece of this project in the upcoming months and validate next steps with engaged users like yourself. One more vote, and we also had this wish from regular users. I started to think about practical implementation, from user point of view.
Now there is the possibility to define conditional formatting to values. If the value is something, the color etc. can be changed.Possibly simplest way would be to use that as starting point. The conditional formatting rule could be assigned to an alert pretty much the same way a value can be assigned to a variable (alert when / repeat alert every 24 hours etc). Current scheduled emails could be amended so that there would additional "alert" trigger to daily/weekly/etc. options. Additionally a scheduled email kind of push notification UI may be necessary, and since there is no (?) push notification already present, this may include more work at Klipfolio's side.
So the email alert notification could be first on the list, if it could be simpler to implement using already present functions?

Hi Team, We have a system of tasks in our platform if there are pending task we need to alert the tech team to take a look into the same. I can now see the values but i need to send an email. You could include the feature on your Indicators Tab, just a thought

I'll add my name and our company (KnowBe4) in the list. It would be great if we could add a notification feature in Klips that would alert us if we have reached targets or goals in our sales. We could do some much is creating internal games as well with this feature to further entice or motivate our sales reps. Please let us know if this is something that is currently being worked on. Hi Everyone - we are busy implementing a goals and alerts/notification feature as we speak. Expect to hear more in February as we're getting closer to release.
