    This can be achieved now using the API (currently in beta). We are looking into exposing it in the UI in a future release.

    For the Klip Library: The data sources being used by a Klip are now available on the Klip info page, in the General Information section. Still being considered for future implementation are the Klips being used by a data source.

    We've had an explosion of data sources (enthusiastic managers loving the visibility Klipfolio brings). Given API limitations on our data services, and the risk of incorrect data being used by users (outdated, duplicated datasources), it would be good to view a report of which klips are dependent on a datasource. This would allow us to delete and consolidate.

    love this idea. We have tons of datasources.. also due to enthusiastic use.. and it's difficult to know which datasources can be safely deleted.

    We bumped into some API limitations too... If we have to check each source manually and see whether it is connected to a klip or not, it would take an eternity to work through and clean up our list of data sources. Please consider this option!

    This would be an important improvement due to the arguments already put forward.

    Hi Marcus,

    Thank you for adding your voice to this request.  (I am also adding it to a feature request for additional context for discussion with the team.)

    Until this makes it into the UI, there is a mechanism in the API to request a list of Klips based on a data source ID.  On this page http://apidocs.klipfolio.com/docs/klips the optional parameter for datasource_ID will return the list of Klips using that datasource.

    Cheers,

    Scott.

    Hi Scott,

    thanks for your reply, this is a fine workaround - if it would work =)

    I'm getting empty results, like this:

    {"meta":{"success":true,"status":200},"data":{"klips":[]}}

    Needless to say, I've tested this on a number of datasources, which I'm sure are being used by Klips.

    Kind regards,

    Marcus Henningsen
