SSH SQL connection with keyfile

I'd love to use the SQL SSH connection with a keyfile as opposed to password only

  Agreed, key based SSH seems to be more of the standard anymore.

   

  An alternative could be a reverse SSH tunnel which means you'd put a script on an internal server.

  This would prevent requirements for white-listing IPs
