Klipfolio server status

It would be great if we can have a Klipfolio status page so we can know if there is a disruption in the service.

    Thank you for your idea. We have been working on a public status page for Klipfolio for the reason you noted in your idea.

    Has this been done yet? Klipfolio is down again today, but no way of confirming if you are aware of this or getting an ETA for it to be back up. If it was coming 'soon' in Jan 2015, how is it looking in May 2016?

    Thanks, Scott. There is currently an outage downloading pdfs, nothing on the site you have referred to me and no response from the 'live chat'

    I am getting error 'An error occurred while generating your pdf'

    I have tried several times, logged in and out, tried different dashboards etc.

    I would have hoped you would have monitoring which could automatically add the status of systems to your help desk site. I wouldn't have thought it was that complicated - have a cron job on an external server trying to download pdfs. If it fails, flag up a failure message on your monitoring page, so that your users know there is a problem?

    Thanks for your inputs, Bruce.  We are continuing to improve it. 

    The systems are all monitored and our support team had jumped on the issue.  My understanding is the PDFs should be running smoothly for everyone at the moment and steps are being taken to prevent this issue from impacting customers again.

    Pdf service is down again. Identical error - 'An error occurred while generating your pdf'

    There is still no status page, and no message on your help desk site, that you claim above is where you would post outage notices.

    Come on guys - reports is what we pay for. You need to be better than this.

    Nothing on the service page, nothing on the help site. I only use klipfolio for 5 minutes a day. Am I just getting really unlucky and logging on when you just happen to have errors, or is this going on a lot? How come there's no proper monitoring that is catching these errors before I am. It's very annoying and wastes a lot of my time.

    Hi Bruce,

    Thank for following up and continuing to raise it.  We will investigate further.  

    Processes have been put in place for increased communication.  We will continue to improve them.

    I reread your second note.  We do have a lot of monitoring and self-healing elements in place.  Availability issues are one of the kinds of issues that should be getting captured and addressed quickly.  We will investigate further and take additional steps to mitigate.

    Hello Scott,

    The pdf problem is marked 'Resolved' on your status notification, but it is not resolved at all. Still getting errors generating pdfs. Grateful if this can be fixed asap. So far it's been down for at least 5 hours (7am to 12 noon UTC)

    Hi Bruce - 

    The PDF issue was reported on our status page at 4:32am EST, and resolved at 6:20am EST. There was a second, brief issue at 7:12am EST, which was resolved at 7:18am. We did not post a message for the second interruption because is was quickly resolved.

    Scheduled email reports are regularly very delayed the last few weeks. Reports scheduled for 7.30am are not getting sent till 11am. Please fix asap!

    Hi Bruce,

    Thank you for continued engagement and feedback. Inputs like yours continue to help us find areas for improvement.

    This particular area is a high priority for us to improve and we currently have an active project here. There is a lot of focus on the underlying system for PDF and scheduling emails to improve the experience.

    Hi Bruce,

    We recently had to revise our approach to reflect some architectural changes.  In the meantime, please check our help desk site - the team is manually adding notices on system activity there.
