SSO

Hi Klipfolio,

I've set up SSO in Klipfolio to work with OneLogin, our SSO service. This works, however, only when the user first logs in to OneLogin, and only when clicking the link to Klipfolio in OneLogin.

If I log into OneLogin and then simply go to app.klipfolio.com in the browser, I'm denied access.

And also if I try to log in through https://app.klipfolio.com/loginwith the credentials from OneLogin, I'm denied access.

I would like to have this process work more smoothly. Klipfolio should detect that:
a) I'm a registered user,
b) for my account SSO has been activated,
c) send the entered credentials to the registered SSO service for access control?

Kind regards,
Marcus Henningsen

    Hi Klipfolio,

I would have expected to have some answer from you by now. To us the functionality described in this ticket is exactly what you would expect from a SSO solution.

An example: Wrike (a project management tool) has this login page: https://www.wrike.com/login/. If you have set up SSO to work with Wrike (which we have) you have the option to "use company credentials". In this case you are taken to https://www.wrike.com/sso/, where the credentials managed by our SSO provider are automatically recognized.

Since Klipfolio is already offering SSO, it shouldn't be too hard to set up this extra functionality. Are we the only ones who want SSO to work this way? How are other companies making use of SSO with Klipfolio? Or is SSO not really something that companies use?

    Kind regards,
    Marcus
