Unshared KPIs To Disappear From Shared Dashboard

Hello,

I am working on creating groups for our eventual client users, and I was testing out the functionality of sharing specific KPIs within a shared dashboard, and I am disappointed by what I have found.

If a dashboard is shared with a user, but specific KPIs are not shared, I want those KPIs to not show at all. Instead, they are displaying blank with a note to the user that they don’t have access. Is there a way to fix/change this other than by creating separate, nearly identical dashboards?

This creates a lot of additional work and maintenance on our part.

Being able to turn a specific Klip on and off, I feel, should be an easy thing to toggle on and off, without having to build an entirely new, nearly identical dashboard.

It would greatly add to CX to have this feature, as viewing a dashboard with Klips that say ‘You do not have access to this KPI’ would make any of our clients very uncomfortable.

Thanks!

Sarah

    Hi Sarah,

Thanks for your post! We're actually making some improvements to how Sharing works within Klipfolio, although this is the first time I've come across a request like yours. I'd love to understand your use-case a bit better. Would you be willing to hop on a quick call to chat?

I would love to see this functionality added as well especially when I am using a template and one klip with a table in the template is not relevant for a specific user. I would like that klip to simply autocollapse for that user.

I'm also looking for this functionality.  Depending on department or company roles, some klips aren't not relevant at all to specific groups and the UX isn't great to just show a white square.  I'd rather have another more related klip to that specific group populate instead.
