When I watched the first Klipfolio webinars, Youtube's algorithm bombarded me with ads for... Klipfolio!
I remember the voiceover, which asked if I was still reporting "like it was 2007, using Excel", and encouring me to report 2017-style, using Klipfolio to build dashboards.
While I agree with the sentiment of dynamic dashboards vs static reports, the 10MB limit on data sources seems VERY 2007-esque, and is causing us to use a lot of workarounds, causing (potentially) other problems.
When reporting on data at a high level of resolution (e.g. todays data per minute), we reach the 10 MB limit rather quickly, typically about an hour or two after lunch.
At the moment, I can just about manage by having one days data in one source (without timestamps), and use another with limited data (six hours worth) for use with specific periods (e.g. last 10 minutes, last hour etc). This is a very inflexible solution and means that adding new periods requires not just editing of formulas, but new sources to be run as well.
If the data source size limit was raised, we could combine sources, reducing the number of sources needing to enter the refresh queue, as well as providing more flexibility when creating Klips and dashboards.
I realise that this might not be an easy upgrade, but it is a much needed one.
Best regards,
Alexander
