Connection to protected website

Hi,

 

I want to connect Klipfolio to my password-protected website. The website has standard HTML and in it some metrics, that I want to use in Klipfolio. Is there any possibility to connect to a "normal" website, so without JSON / API Connection? For example, this website: https://www.timeanddate.com/time/international-atomic-time.html and I want to get the atomic time on the right side.

    Hi TD,

    There are a few options when wanting to use a "normal" website and not the API to pull data. You could try putting the link in an iFrame component. This would allow you to display that website. Some websites prohibit iFrame though. The link you've included will not be displayed in an iFrame. 


    Another option is to use the API from that site, create a data source for it: https://www.timeanddate.com/services/api/

     

    For your website that is password-protected, you could try an iFrame and log in. Does your website allow you to pass in the user name and password in the URL?
