More display options & flexibility for PowerMetrics

  1. Ability to adjust display order / layout of metrics on a PowerMetric dashboard. It seems the current logic is to display the last one created in the upper-left corner.
  2. Ability to retain the metric dimensions (size) when displayed on PowerMetric dashboard when adding to Klip dashboard. Today, the minimum size, especially vertical, is not an efficient use of space.
  3. Ability to embed metric within a Klip dashboard klip, including within a layout grid cell.

Perhaps more broadly what I'm asking for is a better blending of PowerMetrics and Klips. They are separate features when PowerMetrics should be more a workbench to create and manage a particular type of Klip element, if that makes sense.

Hi Bill, thank you for the feedback. For item 1, you should have complete control over the order and layout of metric views on PowerMetric Dashboards. Start by clicking the pencil icon to switch the dashboard to "Edit Mode". You can then drag the metric views around, resize them, etc.. This article may help https://support.klipfolio.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007692673-Displaying-PowerMetrics-on-a-dashboard

I am documenting your requests for better blending of PowerMetrics and Klip and I will discuss the specific ideas with the team.

    Thank you

I would like to add my support to the original request to provide better blending of PowerMetrics and Klips, especially for Dashboard display.

I submitted ticket 141487 regarding column formatting limitations.  The response is:

"This is possible, however, in our Klips product by selecting the sub-component and making the changes in the Properties panel."

This is helpful information but, I am not knowledgeable enough to recreate in Klips the other functions (underlying coding) that PowerMetrics provides from data ingestion through dashboard display. Therefore, having the 'Klips sub-component' functionality for formatting manipulation added to PowerMetrics would be quite valuable.
