Very Simple Chart

I have one column of dates. Each Day 3 people are carrying out tasks - Claire, Jane and Sally. All I want to do is make a chart to show how many tasks each person did each day.

    Hi There,

If you want to have a bar chart that breaks down tasks for each person you can use applied actions to group the dates on your x-axis.

Then you create a new series for each person and use IF() to return a count of records for each day by person.

Here is a video that walks you through this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DxUamTGchI

    Hope this helps!

    Hi There,

In addition to Adam's instructions related to Klips, if you want to use PowerMetrics you can model the data source and then create a PowerMetric that
does a count of one of your columns as the measure,
uses the date column as your date dimension for the PowerMetric and
uses the names column as a segment for the PowerMetric.

The PowerMetric can automatically show a bar chart with dates on the x-axis and a series for each person.

If you have not built a PowerMetric before is a link to get you started.
