How do I connect Klipfolio and Google Drive?

Authenticate with Google Drive

  1. Click Sign in to Google.
  2. Click Allow. This will allow Klipfolio access to your Google Drive account.
  3. Click Next Step.

Select and save your file

  1. Navigate through your Google Drive folders (choose either My Drive or Shared with me to locate your file).
  2. Select the file to be uploaded.
    Important! Make sure your Google Drive spreadsheet name is no longer than 31 characters.
  3. Click Submit. Verify that the correct data is displayed.

Note: If you are creating a data source from within Metric Klips, you skip the following steps and go to the Modeller.

    1. Click Continue.
    2. Type a Name for the data source and set the Queue for Refresh interval.

Note: For a data source to update and refresh accurately, the data source name and ID must remain the same. 

  1. (Optional) Select the groups with whom you wish to share your file, and assign the required sharing rights.
  2. Click Save.

Note: Klipfolio recommends using Google Sheets without pivot tables. Google Sheet pivot tables may not work and are not supported by Klipfolio.
