To protect your account from unauthorized access, administrators can configure custom account lockout settings. This includes setting the maximum number of allowed failed login attempts, defining the lockout duration, and writing a custom message for locked-out users.

To configure lockout settings:
- Click your Account Name ( bottom-left sidebar) and select Account > Settings > Security.
If you don’t see this option, click the
button in the left navigation sidebar and select Settings > Security. - Locate the Lockout section and click Edit.
- Set the Lock User Out threshold by choosing the maximum failed sign-in attempts from the drop-down menu.
- Define the Lock Out Period duration (or select Until reset by admin for manual unlock).
- (Optional) Enter a custom Lock Out Message (up to 255 characters).
If you don’t enter a message,You have been locked out.will display by default. - Click Save.
