Personalize your Klipfolio Klips account by replacing the Klips logo at the top left of your screen with your own image or logo or with an Account Name. This feature is only available to account administrators.
Note: To upload your own logo or any image, you will need a GIF, JPEG, or PNG image file of your logo. The in-app placeholder for your logo is 140px wide by 40px tall. We recommend keeping the size of your logo image within those dimensions.

How do I change my dashboard logo?
There are two places in Klipfolio where you can change your logo or Account Name:
Option 1: Changing the logo or Account Name from your dashboard
On your dashboard, you can upload or drag and drop a new image and use it as a logo. You can also type a message to display at the top left of your account. This is a quick way to customize your dashboard.
Note: Changing your logo from your dashboard is currently unavailable for White Label accounts - use Option 2 instead.
Option 2: Changing the logo or Account Name from your Account Branding Settings page
In your Account Branding Settings, you can fully customize the images and messages that display on your account. You can individually set what you want to display in all scenarios: Default, Full Screen, and Mobile modes in slate, light, and dark themes.
Notes for Partner/Client and White Label accounts:
- If you don't want the Klipfolio logo to appear in your client accounts, you must upload your own logo in light and dark and slate or use a custom theme.
- To customize a client account with a unique logo image or Account Name, log into the client account as an Admin and make your changes.
Option 1: Changing the logo or Account Name from your dashboard
On your dashboard, you can upload or drag and drop a new image and use it as a logo. You can also type a message - your Account Name - to display instead of a logo or other image.
The first time you upload an image directly onto your dashboard, the image displays in all modes: Default, Full Screen, Mobile, and slate, light, and dark themes. Any subsequent image uploads only apply to the theme you are in when the image is uploaded. For example, if you uploaded an image while in light theme, and you want the option to also display the image when in the dark and slate themes, you will need to switch your dashboard by clicking the Themes icon and uploading the image again while in slate or dark theme (the change will apply to both slate and dark themes).
To upload an image:
- At the top left of your dashboard, mouse over the logo, and click Edit.
- In the Replace Your Dashboard Logo popup window, either drag your image into the popup, or click Upload Image.
- Once your image is uploaded, click Apply.
If you want to replace your originally uploaded image and apply it to all themes, you'll need to click the Reset button and upload the replacement image.
To reset and upload a replacement image:
- Click Edit on your dashboard.
- In the Replace Your Dashboard Logo popup window, click Reset.
- Click Apply.
- Click Edit on your dashboard.
- In the Replace Your Dashboard Logo popup window, click Select a file.
- Once your image is uploaded, click Apply.
You can choose to display an Account Name on your dashboard instead of a logo or image. This article and the Klipfolio UI refers to displaying your Account Name, but the choice of text is up to you - it doesn’t have to be your Account Name.
When you edit the Account Name from the dashboard, it updates only in the theme you are in. For example, if you enter a new Account Name in the light theme, it will only be visible in light theme and not in the dark and slate themes. If you want your Account Name to display in all themes (light, dark, and slate) you must follow the steps in Option 2.
To edit and display an Account Name:
- At the top left of your dashboard, mouse over the logo, and click Edit.
- In the Replace Your Dashboard Logo popup window, click Use my Account Name instead.
- To edit the text, click on the text itself.
- When you are finished typing your Account Name, click Apply.
Note: By default, your Company Name displays for editing but your actual Company Name will not be affected by the text you enter for your Account Name.
Option 2: Change the logo or Account Name from the Account Settings page
When you customize from your Account Settings, you have full control over what displays for each of your screen sizes (Default, Full Screen and Mobile) as well as in the slate, light, and dark themes.
There are two ways you can access the Branding and Themes page in Account Settings:
- If you clicked Edit beside your dashboard logo and are in the Replace Your Dashboard Logo popup, click Account Branding Settings.
OR
- Navigate to the Branding tab in the Settings section (see steps below).
To change the dashboard logo from the Account Settings page:
- Click your Account Name (located at the bottom of the left navigation sidebar) and select Account > Settings.
If you don’t see the above option, click the button in the left navigation sidebar and select Settings.
- Beside Branding & Themes, click Edit.
- Select Uploaded image file from the drop-down list.
- Click Browse and navigate to and select your logo image file.
- Click Open.
- Repeat for the Dark & Slate theme.
- Click Apply Now.
- Click Finished.
Your custom logo now displays instead of the Klipfolio logo.
To add and edit your Account Name from the Account Settings page:
- Click your Account Name (located at the bottom of the left navigation sidebar) and select Account > Settings.
If you don’t see the above option, click the button in the left navigation sidebar and select Settings.
- Beside Branding & Themes, click Edit.
- In the text box at Account Name, type the account name you want to apply.
Note: By default, your Company Name displays for editing but it will not be affected by changes you make to your Account Name here. - Under Branding & Themes, select Account name from the drop-down list(s).
- Click Apply Now.
- Click Finished.
